This is the last weekend before Christmas! Time is flying right on by! Some may say this is the busiest weekend of the entire year, and although there's a lot of hustle and bustle, it's important to make time to enjoy the season! For today's post, we are going to share an exciting event that will make you feel like all the hustle and bustle is worth it!
Day 7: The Gift of Lights at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway
This year marks the 10th Gift of Lights display put on by Eastern Propane and Oil at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon!
There are over 3.5 million lights strung along the 2.5 mile trail of lights! The crew spends over 650 hours every year assembling over 520 displays and 80 scenes. Your children may recognize some of these scenes from their favorite childhood books and tales, like the Three Little Pigs and Mother Goose! Just the entrance and exit of the Gift of Lights alone is made up of over 25,000 lights! A light display of this magnitude is probably able to be seen from outer space!
Santa and his reindeer are playing it safe and are quarantining at the North Pole until Christmas, however this event will surely put a smile on your kids' faces!

Not only is this a safe and fun way for your families to enjoy the holiday season, but this event also supports the local community! A portion of proceeds are used to support several community organizations, such as the New Hampshire Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities (SCCNH), the Loudon Firefighters Associations, and the Loudon Food Pantry.
